Terms of Service

Last updated: October 15, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Qwiklo governing your use of the Qwiklo platform at app.qwiklo.com and this website. Qwiklo is operated from Ethiopia. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Qwiklo.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the platform, and if you are under the age of majority in your country, only with a parent or guardian’s involvement. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your account credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Access and Payments

Prices are shown in Ethiopian Birr (ETB). Payments are confirmed manually:

  • After you submit a payment reference or screenshot, we verify it and grant access — usually within a few hours.
  • Access to purchased courses and content is for your personal, non-transferable use.
  • AI credits and similar consumables are non-refundable and non-transferable, and are spent as you use paid features.
  • All sales are final and all payments are non-refundable. Once access is granted we do not offer refunds, except in the rare case where we are unable to deliver the service you paid for. This does not affect any rights you may have under applicable Ethiopian consumer law.

AI Features

The platform includes AI-powered features that generate code, text, images, and suggestions. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected — you are responsible for reviewing and testing anything you rely on or publish. AI features consume AI credits and may be rate-limited or changed over time.

Your Content and Published Sites

You keep ownership of the projects, code, and websites you create. To operate the service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, host, display, and serve your content — including publicly serving any site you choose to publish. You are responsible for everything you publish and confirm that you have the rights and any necessary consent to use it.

Uploaded Files and Storage Limits

Website-builder uploads have a separate unpaid-image allowance: up to 500 MiB for an individual customer or 2,500 MiB for an agent, based on a maximum of 5 MiB per image. Images used by a paid website or a published website that we granted a zero-price entitlement do not consume that allowance, including when the site is paused. Images on an active agent site awaiting approved settlement remain available and count against the unpaid allowance. Individual file, site-image, daily and longer-period upload limits also apply; an image allowance does not replace the image tier or any extra payment required for a site. Playground has a separate library allowance of 50 reusable images per user, with an administrator exception. Reaching a limit prevents additional uploads; it does not authorize deleting an image still used by a paid or zero-price-entitled site, active site or retained version. Unused website files follow the cleanup rules in our Privacy Policy. Keep an independent copy of files you want to retain. Use Playground uploads or stock images in Playground projects: copying a website-builder image or audio URL into Playground code does not create a supported website retention reference.

Orders Through Sites You Publish

If you publish a site that takes orders or enquiries — a shop catalog or a menu, for example — those orders are contact requests, not payments. Qwiklo does not process payments, hold funds, verify any account you display, or take any part in the sale. You are responsible for the prices, stock levels, and contact and payment details you publish, for honouring or declining each order, and for using a buyer’s contact details only to complete that order and as the law requires. Stock counts are display only: the platform never reserves or reduces stock, so two buyers can order the same last item. Order records are deleted automatically — after 90 days for a shop catalog and after 30 days for a restaurant menu — so copy out anything you need to keep. If you switch on a staff dashboard for your site, everyone you give the passcode link to can read those orders, including each buyer’s name, phone number and delivery address; keeping that link to people you trust, and changing the passcode when that changes, is your responsibility.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Publish or share content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, hateful, or otherwise harmful.
  • Publish other people's personal information without their consent.
  • Infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
  • Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the platform.
  • Resell, redistribute, or share paid course content, or circumvent access controls and payment.
  • Use the AI features to generate abusive, illegal, or infringing material.

Our Intellectual Property

The Qwiklo platform, course videos, lesson materials, templates, and branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access purchased content for your own learning and use. You may not copy, redistribute, or resell it.

Certificates

Certificates issued by Qwiklo recognize completion of course requirements on our platform. They are not accredited academic degrees or professional qualifications, and we may verify or revoke a certificate obtained through error or abuse.

Challenges, Rewards, and Prizes

Qwiklo runs challenges and competitions that may award XP, badges, AI credits, or cash prizes. Eligibility, rules, judging, and payout are at our discretion and may be adjusted to keep competitions fair. We may withhold rewards where we detect cheating, fraud, or rule violations.

Termination

You may stop using Qwiklo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the platform in a way that harms other users or us. Some sections — such as content licenses for sites already published, payment records, and disclaimers — survive termination.

Disclaimers

Qwiklo is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will lead to any particular income, job, or freelancing outcome. Your results depend on your own effort.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qwiklo and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunities arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, and any disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Ethiopia.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. We will update the “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Language

These Terms are provided in English, Amharic, and Afaan Oromoo. If there is any conflict between the versions, the English version governs.
