What to expect
The desktop app is made for building and managing client sites — not for watching video lessons. Some things that work in the mobile and web apps are turned off on desktop: there are no video lessons, no push notifications, and no Google sign-in. Agents sign in with email and password.
How to install
These builds are not yet code-signed, so your computer will show a one-time warning the first time you open the app. That is expected — here is how to get past it.
Windows
- Unzip the downloaded file.
- Run the .exe file inside.
- If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC," click More info, then Run anyway.
macOS
- Unzip the downloaded file.
- Move the app into your Applications folder.
- The first time, right-click the app and choose Open, then confirm.
If macOS says the app is "damaged" or can't be opened (common on Apple Silicon Macs), open Terminal and run this command, then open the app again:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Qwiklo.app
